Charitable Causes
LCS has long recognized the importance of giving back to the community.
From 1994 to 1998, LCS provided a non-profit service that
offered
counseling to children, teens and their families of the Boys &
Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. Click on this link to see our commendation from the City of Santa Monica regarding our charitable causes.
Today, LCS aims to provide over $100,000 to a variety of programs by
the year 2026. One objective is to provide college bound students with
funding for textbooks through a number of non-profit organizations,
such as the Boys and Girls Club. This book fund is intended to give
assistance to underprivileged students during their college years. It
is called the “LCS College Student Book Assistance Program in
memory of Harry Borowka and Elizabeth St. Claire
Piggot.”
”Thank you for your
support in assisting me with paying for my application fees to several
California State Universities. As you know my goal is to
major in business and psychology and to continue to donate some time to
a non profit organization while I am working on my bachelors
degree. I wanted to let you know that I have been accepted by
Cal State Northridge. Thanks again for your support in
helping me to meet my educational
goals.” - J W
